We have roles for volunteers and paid roles within Mini Miners.

 

Volunteer coaches

 

Will be coaches that are looking to take on a team of 8 children to play for Harton and Westoe juniors. 

A coach must to able to engage, encourage and inspire a child from the moment they join Mini Miners.

 

Firstly you will be required to have a up to date DBS from The FA and have willing attitude to complete Level 1 football coaching with http://www.durhamfa.com/  . The cost of DBS and coaching course will be reimbursed once certificates have been achieved. We will help and guide you in the correct direction and support you on your journey. 

Before taking on a new team you will be expected to join in Mini Miners sessions for a period of time as a volunteer to help you understand our coaching methods and reasoning.


We can’t deliver our mission without grassroots coaches creating new teams 

Assistant coach

£ Negotiable 

You are as passionate about toddler football as we are and willing to work in a self employed role. You will assist the lead coach and have a group of roughly 12 children per session.

You also have:

  • A Passion for coaching children under 7 years old 

  • Excellent communication skills with a confident delivery

  • Outgoing, fun personality

  • CRB/DBS check

  • First aid certified

  • Level 1 FA coaching badge

 

 

 

Lead Coach 

£ Negotiable 

You will follow our session plans and also help to develop new sessions. You will oversee the session of approximately 24 children over 2 groups.

  • A Passion for coaching children under 7 years old

  • Excellent communication skills with a confident delivery

  • Outgoing, fun personality

  • CRB/DBS check

  • First aid certified

  • Level 1 FA coaching badge
